		<description>I understand the logic in slashing the wage bill by selling or loaning the high-earning veteran mercenaries, but to lose Davies and Surman within a 48 hour period is going to be a huge blow.  Those are exactly the types of players Saints need to hold onto and focus on.

I have such mixed feelings about Saints this year.  I like their style of play a lot more than the past couple seasons (they&#039;re much more quick moving, adventurous, and enjoyable to watch), and I like that they&#039;re promoting talented young players from within the club and giving them a shot to work their asses off for a first team spot (instead of simply paying an older, experienced player who might only be there for a paycheck and not much else)... but on the other hand, they just don&#039;t have the talent to get results and I have a feeling that in the end, 4th from bottom might be a good result this season.</description>
